Last night I went to a social media meetup (or “Tweet-up,” if you want to get cute) facilitated by Ken George at WBUR, Boston’s NPR station. (Ken also maintains the The Converstation blog as well).

Anyway, I am usually too terrified to go to these events alone but I decided to sack up and go. The discussion about Twitter, Facebook and other forms of social media, and how to wield them effectively was really interesting. We also got a tour of the WBUR studios which, for a public radio nerd like myself, was a little bit like heaven.
